27/11/2004 -
Production begins on follow up album
With some initial warm up recordings done at Cardigan Manor 1, Leeds, the larger Cardigan manor 2 studio has been chosen as the venue to produce the new album. The Masked Musician has gone into the studio with 14 new songs and is currently laying the first tracks.
05/09/2004 – New
Song Titles
Title names for some of the songs recently penned have been released, these include “Selling your Disease”, “Three Year Headache”, “Perfectionist Being” and “Safe + Approved”. Of course these are working titles and may be subject to change, still no word on an album title yet, but watch this space. The Masked Musician just got back from a stint working on the TV drama “Fat Friends” which has just completed filming of its fourth run. He will be re-commencing writing shortly.
The
Masked Musician is has started writing lyrics for his new album due to commence
recording later this year. There are currently lyrics for three songs written
and a couple of others in progress.
03/02/2004 - Recording Delays
Commencement
of recording the 2nd album has been delayed due to venue
problems. Upon finishing preliminary
warm up recordings at the end of last year, The Masked Musician felt that the
Cardigan Manor 1 Studio was unsuitable a the proposed work space for the new
album. Although there is no fixed date
yet, The Masked Musician is considering his options and will, one way or
another, be starting recordings later this year.
