Intro

1.618 is the 2^nd album by The Masked Musician containing 12 original tracks. The production period for this album was 18 months due to other distractions surrounding the production. The production values are considerably higher than those of the debut album (Cold Blooded Innocence, 2002), due to relocating to a new studio and use of a Pro Tools system as the main production platform.

Background Information

Recording of 1.618 began in late 2004 at Cardigan Manor 2, Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK. Production activity was patchy from this point on until completion in the Summer of 2006. With 14 songs recorded, 12 of these were selected for the album, with the other remaining 2 intended for use as B sides. In terms of production values, the standard of this album was much higher that that of the debut due to access to better facilities and resources.
